A more miscellaneous update today. Retro Mode!
This is something I've been wanting to make sure Inferria has, and that's a bonus graphical style that seems far more 90s-esque than the norm, giving more authenticity if people want it.
As for an update on general development, the shader behind this is also for helping me create more retro weapons for the player (because hand-drawn weapon animations are expensive in many ways!)

UI Changes
So recently we've been touching the UI up a little, adding a vignette effect, sprucing up the main-menu, and giving the pause menu and buttons the same treatment.
In the next few weeks I'll be working towards getting basic player animations and combat started, which is a major step towards a public playable demo.

First Alpha Update
Hey folks! Welcome to Inferria's first dev post!
Inferria is a dungeon-crawler that throws itself back to the mid-1990s to the prime of 3D dungeon-crawlers such as the Ultima Underworld and early Elder-Scrolls games!
The aim of the game is to let players dive into crafted levels with the same atmosphere and styles of the golden age of dungeon-crawling! They can explore developer-made levels and when they're done with that, they can go onto make their own and share them with others, alternatively also playing dungeons that have been created by others!
At the moment Inferria has recently begun development, beginning to get initial graphics and functionality setup. As such I've opted to begin blogging about the development and hopefully keep posted about new features, new graphics, etc!
You can follow Inferria on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Inferria/
and Twitter: https://twitter.com/Inferria
And of course you can follow this blog for developer updates!
For now, here are some of the recent images that's been posted on recent ScreenshotSaturday's!
